All items purchased from RebuiltCarParts include a free 1-year limited warranty, covering repairs and limited exchanges. We warranty that all new and rebuilt items, as well as our repair services, will be defect-free from the date of purchase.
Depending on the specific module, warranty coverage can range from 1 year to a Lifetime Warranty. To confirm the exact coverage for your part, please refer to the warranty badge displayed on the product image. Extended warranties are also available for purchase to ensure long-term peace of mind for your vehicle’s electronics.
If, within the warranty period, any purchased item should fail due to defects in materials or workmanship, RebuiltCarParts will remedy solely through:
- Repair of the warrantied item.
- Replacement of the warrantied item with a rebuilt item.
The warranty applies only to failures integral to the item.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not extend to any product that fails due to:
- Accident or collision, misuse, neglect, or modification.
- Other faulty parts or improper installation.
- Items used for any purpose other than its intended use.
- Use on vehicles used for powersports, off-road, or racing purposes.
- Damage caused by fire, flood, salt, hail, or other environmental conditions including natural disasters.
Liability & Limitations
This warranty represents the total liability of RebuiltCarParts for any item to which it applies. RebuiltCarParts shall not be liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.
Please note: RebuiltCarParts warranty does not cover labor, towing, or rental car charges, which are the sole responsibility of the purchaser.
If a product is replaced under this warranty, a replacement product will be covered for 90 days from the date of exchange, or for the remainder of the warranty period, whichever is greater. This warranty shall terminate immediately if:
- The vehicle is sold or ownership is transferred.
- The item is installed in another vehicle.
Cash refunds will be provided only in the event that a rebuilt replacement item is not available, or a repair is not possible.
